Do you have an idea for a short explainer video from your area of study? Then submit your idea to us.

The New Media Center turned 20 in 2023! We want to celebrate this anniversary with you – by cheering on your creative ideas. That's why we're inviting all students at the University of Basel to submit ideas from their academic field for three-minute explainer videos. We will then select the best proposals at regular intervals and turn them into video shorts – with you in front of the camera, if you'd like. We can't promise fame or fortune, but we can promise plenty of recognition: you will be credited in the video and can share it anywhere.
